Courage in the Cape

After a ten-year wait, single mother Christine and her two sons have finally made it to South Africa. They arrive at the Muizenberg YWAM base at a critical historical moment. Apartheid faces its long-awaited demise, and freedom fighter Nelson Mandela is about to be elected the country’s first black president. Christine and her boys experience culture shock and frequent, unexpected challenges as they navigate a roller-coaster first year.

Christine, doing her best to express the compassionate heart of God to people who are suffering and in need, herself experiences inner healing and the unfailing provision (usually last minute!) of her caring Father.
